Loveland Ford specified EdenCrete® in October 2024 for their service Quick Lane expansion for protection from freeze thaw deterioration, cracking, and scaling on the north side of the building. The concrete mix was provided by Holcim (now Amrize) and was placed/finished by Pierson Concrete.
Concrete placed on the north side of buildings in Colorado is subjected to harsh winter elements and is more susceptible to freeze thaw damage. EdenCrete® helps to protect concrete from the repeated expansion/contraction cycle caused by freezing and then thawing of the concrete’s internal water. This phenomenon causes cosmetic surface scaling and pitting and structural damage through a network of cracking, ultimately leading to structural failure. EdenCrete® significantly reduces cracking and lowers permeability, restricting water ingress into concrete.
